Material Advantage is a national society of students in materials science & engineering that provides access to the nation’s most preeminent materials science societies (The American Ceramic Society, Association for Iron & Steel Technology, ASM International, and The Minerals, Metals and Materials Society). The goal of this Chapter at Rice University is to provide Rice Students a vehicle to connect with other local materials societies and network with industry members for the advancement and betterment of the Rice Materials Science Community.
